Gunda doesn’t seem to enjoy herself even in slaughter. Attacking with a frown rather than a snarl (like Argrath, Beat-Pot etc.) or a serene expression (like Jar-eel). No visible hero-light either, only terrible efficiency.
Not only is this just business, this is probably just clubbing baby seals, for her. She might get a wolf-like grin when she finally gets some challenging work to do, but for now …
Even if losing the ability to love doesn’t mean losing the ability to enjoy using her skills to the best of her ability, chopping through a bunch of lightly armed and armored sailors (vs, say, marines in Sa-metal chain or plate) is going to be boring, tedious work, especially since she doesn’t know them well enough to hate them, yet.
It looks like the Holy City sailors are doing quite well against the Wolf Pirates. If they weren’t also fighting against Harrek and Gunda they might even win…
Just wonderful! I specially like the scenes in the second, fourth and final vignettes. But what’s happening exactly with the wolf spirit on the first one? Also, there seem to be fangs reflected on the blood spilled on the last drawing. What does that mean?
It’s the ship’s wyter, to be somewhat niggling. A sub-band of the wolf pirates might span several ships and have a separate wyter (though more likely the wyter of the flagship).
There may also be other minor spirits bound to the fleet that are used in raids. This is very easily doable in HQ2, RQ2 or 13G as an encounter. In fact, I am tempted to do so.
I don’t know who that is, but she has enough combat runes on her to choke a horse. Is that iron armor she’s wearing?
That’s Gunda. You can learn more about her n the cast page. And yes, all of her equipment is made of iron. Harrek pays well.

Didn’t she lose the ability to love anything earlier in her life? I suppose that would include combat. So for her, its business, not pleasure.

Is she albino?
No, part-Valkyrie. Albinos, like Moorcock’s Elric, have pink eyes.
Just now came to read this magnificent comic… Really love it. Hope to see more architecture of Nochet in the coming strips.

I presume the Wolf Spirit is some sort of wyter for the Wolf Pirates…

It appears there’s also a second wolf spirit visible in the first frame (upper left corner, just above the guy saying “For the Holy Country!”)
